Moroccan Teen Finalist in Dubai’s Arab Reading Challenge

She is only fifteen years old and will represent Morocco next October in the final phase of the 4th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge in Dubai. Fatimazahra Adiar will be accompanied by nine candidates who distinguished themselves during the elimination rounds.

The 4th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge, on the TV channel MBC 1, starts on September 27. 16 finalists are competing this year, including the Moroccan, Fatimazahra Adiar. A student at the Cadi Ayyad High School in Tetouan, she qualified after winning the National Reading Competition.

The "Mohammad Bin Rashed Al Maktoum" International Foundation has indicated that during the eight weeks the competition will last, the participants will take part in various cultural activities.

This will allow them to showcase their reading skills, develop their thinking and enrich their lives. The final phases of this competition will take place during a TV show that will be broadcast once a week.

Launched in 2016 by the aforementioned Foundation, the Arab Reading Challenge is endowed with 11 million Emirati dirhams, or about 3 million dollars, it is specified.

It emphasizes that the grand winner receives the sum of 500,000 dirhams, while the best school and the distinguished supervisor will receive 1 million and 800,000 dirhams respectively.
