Moroccan Striker Youssef El Arabi Dominates Greek Soccer, Wins Top Scorer and Best Foreign Player Awards
On the occasion of the celebration of the 39th anniversary of the creation of the Greek Football Federation, the Moroccan striker of Olympiacos, Youssef El Arabi was doubly rewarded for his performances. The Atlas Lion has been named top scorer and best foreign player in the Greek football championship for the past season.
The Moroccan player Youssef El Arabi is the formidable weapon of the Greek club. In the previous season, he had distinguished himself with Olympiacos by scoring 27 goals and providing 8 assists in 51 matches, thus helping his club to win the Cup-Championship double. At 34 years old, Youssef El Arabi is one of the best Moroccan strikers playing abroad.
As for this season, he has already scored 18 goals and is well ahead in the top scorers’ standings of the Superleague. Currently courted by several clubs in the Gulf countries, his club has extended his contract until 2022.
