Moroccan Striker Idrissi Halts Transfer Talks, Aims to Prove Worth at Sevilla

Oussama Idrissi is determined to continue the adventure with Seville, after the end of his loan to Feyenoord on June 30. The Moroccan striker has asked his agents to suspend all ongoing negotiations with other clubs regarding his potential transfer until further notice.
While Seville is trying to get rid of him, Oussama Idrissi is clinging on. Back after a year on loan at Feyenoord, the young player wants to show the new coach Mendilibar that he is still capable of achieving great things and that he deserves his place in the team. He wants a chance and is waiting to be called up for pre-season.
According to El Desmarque, the Moroccan striker would have asked his agents to suspend until further notice the ongoing negotiations with several Liga and Dutch clubs for a possible transfer. Yet he knows that his days at Seville are numbered, unless the Serbian coach decides otherwise by certifying that he integrates well into the team and that he is part of his plans.
During his loan to Feyenoord, the Moroccan international played 38 matches, scored seven goals and provided eight assists, helping the club win the Dutch league. A performance that earned him a return to the Moroccan team after four years of absence, and motivates him to also climb back up the ladder at Seville. For its part, the club will not hesitate to accept an interesting offer concerning him during the summer transfer window.
