Moroccan Striker Ayoub El Kaabi Exits Chinese Club Amid COVID-19 Travel Restrictions

The coronavirus forces Ayoub El Kaabi to terminate his contract with the Chinese club Hebei Fortune. A decision taken by mutual agreement between the two parties.
The Chinese club announced on Thursday, August 20, on its website that it was "a friendly agreement aimed at protecting the interests of both parties". Ayoub El Kaabi is still in Morocco because of the coronavirus pandemic and has not been able to return to China, where the championship has already resumed, reports Le360.
Ayoub El Kaabi joined the Chinese championship in 2018 from Renaissance Sportive de Berkane. He had signed a two-and-a-half-year contract for 6 million euros, one of the most expensive contracts in the Moroccan championship.
