Moroccan Startup to Launch First Domestically-Produced Thermal Camera Next Month

At the initiative of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green Economy and Digital, the startup Nextronic has manufactured the first 100% Moroccan thermal camera, which will be put on the market as early as next month.
"Over the past 5 years, Nextronic has developed real responsiveness and agility in both engineering and industrial terms, which it puts at the service of Made in Morocco. It is in this context that the company was approached by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green Economy and Digital to launch the design and prototyping of the thermal camera in record time," says Mohammed Benouda, founding president of Aba Capital, to Médias24.
The thermal camera has four main features: temperature detection with associated access control; mask wearing identification with voice message emission; facial recognition by comparison with the internal database; and site presence identification by association with the facial recognition function.
According to Mr. Benouda, the device can also be connected and interfaced (PC client, Web server, etc.). "Given its features, the thermal camera is aimed at a wide audience, including businesses, ministries, hotels and restaurants, airports, supermarkets and shopping centers...," he adds.
The device will be launched on the market in October. "Several very satisfactory tests have been carried out, and the market launch is scheduled for the second week of October," says the founding president.
