Moroccan Star Sofiane Boufal Nears Transfer to OGC Nice from Southampton

After Olympique de Marseille and FC Bordeaux, it is the turn of OGC Nice to be interested in the Atlas Lion, Sofiane Boufal. Having already played in Ligue 1, the player would not be against a return to France.
The Moroccan international could soon finalize his agreement with OGC Nice. Under contract with the English club, Southampton, until 2021, Sofiane Boufal would have already given his agreement to join the French club’s ranks.
The player’s performances, both in the Spanish championship and at the Africa Cup of Nations, must have impressed the Nice officials, who would see him well in the place of Mario Balotelli.
Southampton had to lower the transfer fee, initially set at 15 million euros. The club would be willing to sell the Atlas Lion for 10 million euros. At such a cost, the English billionaire, Jim Ratcliffe, the new owner of OGC Nice, would have no problem paying for the services of the Moroccan virtuoso.
