Moroccan Star Samira Said Returns to Rabat for Free Concert After Years Away

After several years of absence, the Moroccan singer and composer Samira Saïd is preparing to perform on the OLM Souissi stage in Rabat.
Samira Said is back on stage. In a post, she invited her fans to a free concert on September 24. "After a long absence from performing in my beloved country Morocco and in my wonderful city Rabat, I’m coming back to perform on Saturday at the OLM Souissi theater. I’ve missed you so much," she wrote. Recently, the performer of Malich 3inwan unveiled the title of her new single "Moushta’Alak" in a duet with the Egyptian singer Hany Shaker.
Samira Said, 64, is a famous Moroccan singer. She has made a name for herself on the Arab music scene. Her album Al Ghani baad youmine, released in 1985, is considered one of the biggest hits of the 80s. She has received many awards, including "Best Arab Singer Middle East" at the World Music Awards for her album Youm Wara Youm. She has been awarded four times as the "Best Arab Artist of the Year" by the Arab Music Festival in Cairo. The Arabian pop star has also been honored by King Hassan II.
