Moroccan Star Saad Lamjarrad’s Hit "Salam" Returns to YouTube After Copyright Dispute

The music video for Saad Lamjarrad’s song "Salam" is back and can be viewed again on YouTube. Owned by Tamza vision, the suspension was related to copyright issues.
For 24 hours, YouTubers were unable to access this video which has a record number of views: over 15 million in less than three weeks!
In reality, according to Abderrafii El Abdioui, the director of the clip, this situation is due to copyright issues. "It was just temporary. The YouTube management had hidden the video following a complaint from Hicham Talmoudi who claimed paternity of the song, pending their investigation."
So, according to him, it was not a deletion of the clip from YouTube. According to these explanations, this song, the composer of which is none other than Mouhcine Tizaf, founder of the Fnaire Group, is the property of Tamza vision.
This company has granted an assignment of rights, authorizing the use of the rhythms and choruses of the song in the title "Aglal Souss" by Hicham Talmoudi, a Moroccan musical artist violinist.
According to Amine Hannaoui, manager of the Fnaire Group, contacted by Le360, documents would have been sent to prove that the song was not plagiarized by Saad Lamjarrad. The incident would therefore be closed and honor is (almost) saved.
