Moroccan Star Mazraoui Departs Ajax for Bayern Munich in Emotional Farewell
Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui officially left Ajax Amsterdam on Thursday to embark on his new adventure with Bayern Munich. In a moving message posted on social media, the Atlas Lion bid farewell to his fans and supporters.
Arriving at the end of his contract with Ajax Amsterdam, Noussair Mazraoui has left the Dutch club for other adventures. "It was a big part of my life and I will miss everything," said the emotional Noussair Mazraoui.
In an interview with the club’s channel, the Moroccan international looked back on his early days at Ajax, the club that trained him, and the great moments that marked him, including the training camps and the rigor that forged his personality. "Seven years spent at the club... I’m 24 now, and I can say I’ve come of age at Ajax," said Mazraoui.
For its part, Ajax published a message in which it thanks its former right-back for his contribution. "It’s now time to say goodbye," the club wrote. Noussair Mazraoui officially joined Bayern Munich in May, in the form of a free transfer, for a contract that will expire in 2026.
