Moroccan Star’s Daughter Divorces 24 Hours After Wedding, Uncovers Shocking Secret

Less than 24 hours after her marriage, Samia Digoug announced in a video posted on Instagram that she would be getting divorced. The reasons for this sudden decision. She recounts having discovered that her partner was in fact already married to a Moroccan woman living in Qatar and that he had children. Yet, she met him in 2018 and their engagement took place in 2022. The daughter of singer Najat Aâtabou explained that she had approached all the competent institutions to ensure her family situation before the marriage, but that there had been no indication that he was already married.

How could she have discovered this well-kept secret? According to Samia, it was the first wife who had tried to contact her directly after the publication of the wedding photos, before making the information public via social media. Discovering that her husband is already married to another woman after seven years of relationship is a "betrayal", fumes the daughter of Najat Aâtabou. She then decided to end the relationship.

She announced that starting on Monday, she would begin legal proceedings to request a divorce. She says she cannot accept being the second wife of a man.
