Moroccan Star El Arabi Nets Double, Extends Greek Super League Scoring Lead

Moroccan international Youssef El Arabi scored a historic double this Saturday in the Greek championship, allowing his club to win its 17th victory.
Very much in form since the beginning of this season, Youssef El Arabi continues to reveal himself on a daily basis. Last Saturday, he showed that he represents the linchpin of his club, its designated playmaker.
Against Panionios, the Atlas Lion scored in the 6th minute, before repeating the feat in the 24th minute. The former Al Duhail player in Saudi Arabia, by scoring this double, after the one that occurred last December, retains his title as top scorer in the Greek Super League with 17 goals this season. The Egyptian, Ahmed Hassan Kouka (4’), and the Greek, Kostas Fortounis (9’), scored the other two goals of the match.
For its part, Olympiacos remains at the top of the standings, undefeated after 23 games this season, thanks to the good performances of the Moroccan. With 106 goals in 94 games, the versatile striker, who arrived last summer at Olympiacos after three idyllic seasons in Qatar, is already unanimous in Greece.
