Moroccan Soldier Accused of Fake Marriage Scheme to Sexually Exploit Teen

A Moroccan soldier devised a strange scheme in order to sexually exploit a young girl from the city of Inezgane. With the help of his friends, he led the young victim into a fake marriage, with the consequences of a birth and a pregnancy.
According to Agadir24, the suspect presented himself to the girl’s parents, accompanied by two fake adouls (notaries) and two pseudo-parents. The marriage certificate was drawn up and the two young spouses began to live a real marital relationship.
Pregnant, the young victim asked her husband to register the child in the civil registry. He refuses, citing the absence of the marriage certificate for procedures related to his work. He even asked her to leave the newborn in a center for abandoned children.
The victim’s situation worsened when she became pregnant a second time. Without a marriage certificate or civil status booklet, she found herself in a very unstable legal situation. Searching her husband’s clothes, she found the certificate of a first marriage that he had never mentioned.
She finally filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the central military affairs services, prosecuting her fake husband for forming a criminal gang, fraud, identity theft, and childbirth and pregnancy following sexual exploitation.
