70 individuals have been detained following the acts of extreme violence that left 103 law enforcement officers injured and numerous material damage, following the match between the FAR and MAS teams.

Four days of investigation and research were enough for the Attorney General of the King near the Court of Appeal of Rabat, who published on Wednesday, March 16, a press release in which he indicates that the 70 individuals arrested are being prosecuted for criminal conspiracy, collective destruction of public equipment, aggravated theft, attempted rape, and carrying bladed weapons in the stadium.

The investigating judge ordered their pre-trial detention in the Salé prison. The minors also prosecuted for the same charges have been placed in detention in the pavilion reserved for juvenile delinquents.

Sources from the daily Al Akhbar report that 58 of the accused are from several cities, including Rabat, Salé, Tamesna, Ain Aouda, Temara, Mers El Kheir and Skhirat. In addition, 12 MAS supporters from the team were arrested and prosecuted for serious charges, including an attempted rape against a cleaning lady working in the Moulay Abdallah complex in Rabat.
