Moroccan Soccer Star Hakim Ziyech’s Mentor Refutes Drug Addiction Rumors

Former Moroccan international, Aziz Doufikar, provided a formal denial of the allegations concerning the drug addiction of Hakim Ziyech, after the death of his father in 2003.
"Ziyech is my friend, my brother, and he has been like my grandson. I have been with him since he was 13 years old, after the death of his father. He was with me for a long period of training with my son. They went to school together," said former Moroccan international Aziz Doufikar in a recent interview. According to him, the Moroccan international has always been a wise boy. He will add that Hakim Ziyech had received very good education from his mother; which will help him become "a committed and persevering young man in his training".
The first Moroccan player to have played in the Eredivisie, recounts that the new recruit of Chelsea grew up in a poor family and suffered a violent shock after the death of his father, when he was still a teenager. But the star of Ajax Amsterdam has successfully overcome this sad period of his life, without falling into the grip of alcohol, let alone drugs.
Hakim Ziyech is expected at Chelsea on July 1st, where he will continue his football career as a midfielder.
