Moroccan international Youssef El Arabi tested positive for Covid-19 and was therefore unable to face the Central African Republic team with his teammates on Tuesday, November 17 in Cameroon.
The tests carried out by the Moroccan delegation in Douala, Cameroon, before the Centrafrica-Morocco match, revealed that the striker Youssef El Arabi, who plays for Olympiacos, is positive for Covid-19. He has been placed in quarantine in Cameroon where he is being monitored by the national team doctor Said Zakini, on the instructions of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
Before joining his club, Youssef El Arabi will have to undergo a new screening test to make sure the danger has been definitively averted.
