Moroccan Soccer League Awaits Government Approval for Season Restart

Uncertainty hangs over the resumption of the championship. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has its eyes riveted on the final decision of the administrative and health authorities.
This decision, which should come from the Ministry of the Interior, could still drag on given the epidemiological situation in the country, reports Assabah. A meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday, November 17 to define the dates concerning the resumption of the Botola, the Throne Cup and the General Assemblies of the clubs.
While waiting for the choice of this date, some clubs are continuing their training sessions. According to the same daily, several dates had been put forward by the FRMF. But they were ultimately aborted.
The new clusters recorded at Wydad de Fès with 24 cases of Covid-19 contamination and the 16 other cases in the Rapide Oued Zem team are worrying the FRMF officials. They fear a general contamination.
