Moroccan Soccer Club Wydad Postpones Match After COVID-19 Outbreak

The WAC-AS FAR match was postponed after the discovery of confirmed cases among Wydad players and staff. The announcement was made by the club on Friday.
A note posted on the club’s Facebook page states that "the results of the analyzes carried out by the club’s components on Wednesday, August 12, showed that five members of the team and the staff tested positive for Covid-19." Their health condition is stable.
According to the same source, the club will carry out new tests for "all its components". The officials have also promised to trace "all the people who have recently been in contact with the members who tested positive".
