Moroccan Soccer Club MCO Fires Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou Amid Contract Dispute

The Mouloudia Club d’Oujda (MCO), the bottom of the Botola, has thanked the former Atlas Lion, Abdeslam Ouaddou.
In a press release, the governing board of Mouloudia d’Oujda announced that it had parted ways with coach Abdeslam Ouaddou. The 24-hour deadline that Mohamed Houar, president of the MCO, had given the technician to sign a new, rethought and revised contract, has expired.
The MCO leaders had committed, in the event of a unilateral breach of contract, to pay him nearly 9.6 million DH, representing the full four years of salary, in accordance with the terms of the contract.
The former Moroccan international has experienced ups and downs since joining the MCO technical staff. These include his sudden separation from his assistant Karim Bencherifa, his dispute with the team bus driver and his hospitalization for heart problems.
