At just 30 years old, the young Anas Bekkali can boast of having won 9 world records in skydiving. Leaving for the United Arab Emirates in 2010, the young Moroccan from Khénifra has made the world’s biggest celebrities dream, by helping them make their first skydive.
Having become a skydiving instructor at one of Dubai’s best dropzones, Skydive Dubai, Anas Bekkali has embarked on adventures that have taken him around the world, breaking nine records in several disciplines. He remains very grateful to his mentors and says he is happy to have taken this path.
The young prodigy has been able to realize his dream of meeting international celebrities, by initiating them into the great jumps. He has flown with Bella Hadid, Zinédine Zidane, Will Smith, Ronaldo, Michel Rodriguez, Patrice Evra, Karim Benzema, Usher and others. "During my career, I’ve been lucky enough to meet a lot of stars and it’s crazy because I was a fan of these celebrities but now, after taking them into my world, they’ve become my fans, especially after our landing," he said.
His greatest achievements are the nine world records he has set in such a short time. In 2011, he won the world record for the largest jump from a hot air balloon. Two years later, he broke the world record in the tunnel, before winning, in 2015, the record for the largest formation of skydivers in Chicago. In 2018, he obtained the world record for the largest vertical formation, in the same American city.
Anas Bekkali has seized several opportunities to pay tribute to his homeland, by hoisting the Moroccan flag over the famous Palm Jumeirah in Dubai and Mount Everest. "I have several projects and dreams that I want to realize and materialize, some in Morocco and other countries but mainly projects that will help me represent Morocco and show the world the beauty of our flag," he says proudly.
