Moroccan Singer Saâd Lamjarred Sues Magazine Over Rape Allegations Coverage

Moroccan singer Saâd Lamjarred has decided to file a complaint against the monthly magazine Jeune Afrique, for very serious accusations that would have been made against him.
The cover of the September edition for the Maghreb of the pan-African magazine Jeune Afrique is devoted to Saâd Lamjarred and his "saga". But the content inside is full of very serious accusations against the Moroccan star, especially regarding his legal troubles in France for alleged rape cases, reports Maghreb Intelligence.
"Saâd Lamjarred has never been contacted by the magazine in any way. He is determined to assert his rights, including the presumption of innocence," says one of the singer’s close associates to the same source.
