Moroccan Singer Reunites with Daughters After Prison Release

Moroccan singer Dounia Batma appeared in a video for the first time since her release. She recently left the Oudaya prison in Marrakech, after serving a one-year prison sentence in the "Hamza Mon Bb" case.
Dounia Batma appeared in a moving video published on the official channel of her younger sister Imane. The video documents the reunion between the singer and her two daughters at their home in Marrakech after a year of absence. The mother was in tears. This has aroused a lot of emotion from many Internet users as well as several artists and celebrities.
Emirati singer Ahlam Al Shamsi shared the video with her subscribers on X. "A mother is an irreplaceable treasure... O Lord, protect her for them and protect them for her," she wrote in the caption. Comedian Youssef El Mghari alias "Yasser" also expressed his sadness and emotion in the face of the video. "It’s a difficult feeling..., he admitted. O Lord, do not deprive any mother of her daughters, and may this be the last of the sorrows, if God wills."
Artist Badr Soultan joined this wave of solidarity. "Thank God, my dear sister... Your joy is that of the whole world," he said in a message addressed to his colleague Dounia Batma.
After her release, Dounia Batma will soon reconnect with singing. She has chosen to sign a contract with a Gulf company to manage her career on the Arab scale. The singer will also meet her audience. In this sense, she plans to host a series of private concerts soon.
