Moroccan Singer Hatim Ammor Reports YouTube Hack Attempt Over Traditional Art in Music Video

Moroccan artist Hatim Ammor claims to have been the victim of an attempted hacking of his official YouTube channel. In a post shared on his Instagram account, the author of the famous song "Ana El Awal" explained that this attempted hacking would be linked to the use of "zellige" in his latest music video.
"My official channel is being hacked because of the zellige, but we are vigilant, the problem will soon be resolved," he told his subscribers.
Ammor had indeed integrated scenes of "zellige", a traditional Moroccan art of mosaic, in the music video of his duet with the Egyptian artist Mostafa Hagag. This choice had caused annoyance among some Internet users, particularly due to the repeated thefts of Moroccan heritage observed in recent times.
Despite this attempted hacking, Hatim Ammor remains optimistic. He is currently preparing to release a new musical duet with his friend Saad Lamjarred, titled "Mahboub". The video clip of this song was filmed in recent days in the capital Rabat under the supervision of director Houssam El Husseini.
