Moroccan Singer Faces Backlash for Collaboration with Algerian Actress

On the web, many Moroccan internet users have criticized the Moroccan singer Zouhair Bahaoui for his collaboration with the Algerian actress and influencer Norene Harid.
Many Moroccans look unfavorably on the fact that Zouhair Bahaoui called on the Algerian actress and influencer Norene Harid to share the lead role in the music video for his new song "Magdar", which he published on his official YouTube channel.
They blame the Moroccan singer for not taking into account the offenses suffered by Morocco from the Algerians, nor their behavior towards Moroccan artists and celebrities. They regret that the native of Tetouan did not do justice to the Moroccans, especially at a time when Algeria wants to appropriate the Moroccan cultural heritage, particularly the Moroccan caftan and zellige.
It should be noted that Zouhair Bahaoui will be in concert on June 21 at the Mégarama complex in Casablanca, as part of the celebrations of art and music.
