Moroccan Singer Dounia Batma Sues Stylist for Allegedly Leaking Court Trial Video

Moroccan singer Dounia Batma has filed a complaint against stylist Soltana, accusing her of having recorded her trial at the Marrakech court and of having broadcast it on the YouTube channel with the complicity of another person.
While accompanying her statement with a CD-Rom of the recording, the Moroccan star described the stylist’s attitude as an invasion of her privacy and contempt of court and the guarantees of a fair trial.
On the orders of the Marrakech Public Prosecutor’s Office, and following the hearing of the complainant, the judicial police managed to identify the author of the YouTube channel who had left the national territory on August 26, 2019 via the Beni Nsar border post in Nador.
For now, Soltana has been released on bail under judicial supervision, and the court has ordered an expert examination of the mobile phone.
