Moroccan Singer Dounia Batma Performs at Local Weddings Amid Travel Ban and Pending Trial

The singer Dounia Batma, prohibited from leaving the national territory as part of the "Hamza mon bb" case, is visibly forced to host wedding parties. Performances she had refused until now.
Accustomed to hosting private parties in the Gulf countries, Dounia Batma is reduced to performances at wedding parties in Morocco. Since the new year, the singer’s concerts in these countries have been canceled.
On her Instagram account, Dounia Batma posted a video of one of her performances at a wedding party that took place in a large hall in Tangier.
Last December, the singer was indicted and banned from leaving the country for alleged links with anonymous Instagram and Snapchat accounts that slander and spread rumors about other Moroccan stars and personalities in the country. Her trial will open on February 10.
