Moroccan Scientist Knighted for Innovation at London Invention Expo

Kamal Daissaoui, a researcher-teacher and, moreover, President of the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI) has been elevated to the rank of Knight of the Order of Science and Innovation at the latest edition of the Grand International Salon of Inventions in London.

The distinction of this researcher-teacher is a reward for his actions in favor of scientific research and innovation, according to an EMSI press release.

According to the same source, Kamal Daissaoui is also a laureate and Doctor of Computer Science from the University of Nice "Sophia Antipolis", where he began his career as a researcher-teacher. In 1983, he joined the Hassania School of Engineers in Casablanca.

EMSI was also honored at this international exhibition where it received the "Platinum international award invention London 2019", for the patent "Smarty factory 4.0". The School also won two gold medals for its two flagship inventions, "Smartrafic" and "Smart factory 4.0", from the bowels of its two laboratories, "SMARTilab" and "LPRI".

In addition, EMSI also received eight distinctions from eight countries. These are the Grand Innovation Prize of Europe France Inventors (EFI), the Grand Invention Prize of the University of "Norton Cambodia", the Grand Prize of the Association of Inventors of Thailand, the Special Prize of the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA), the Special Prize of the Haller pro invention Foundation of Poland, the Special Prize of the Romanian Inventors Forum (FIR), the Special Prize of the Association of Inventors of Croatia and the Special Prize of the Egyptian Council for Creativity (ECCIPP).
