Moroccan Runner Soukaina Atanane Dominates Cordoba Half Marathon with 1:15:37 Finish

The Moroccan Soukaina Atanane has just won the Puente Genil (Cordoba) half marathon, with a time of 1 h: 15: 37.
The 27-year-old Moroccan won the half marathon with this excellent time, ahead of her compatriot Fatima Ouhaddou (1: 25: 06) and Lourdes González (1: 29: 33), reports Diario Cordoba.
In the men’s event, Domingo Gil won with a time of 1: 09: 25. He is followed by Cristóbal Ortigosa with a time of 1: 09: 35 and Antonio Ibáñez with a time of 1: 15: 37. In total, 282 athletes (248 men and 34 women) participated in this first popular race of the year in the province.
The trophies were presented to the winners in the presence of the mayor of Puente Genil, Esteban Morales, the Sports Councilors, José Antonio Gómez, and the Youth, Jesús López. The race was organized by the sports delegation of the municipal council, with the collaboration of the Amigos del Canal clubs and the provincial athletics school Miguel Ríos.
