Moroccan Royal Family Mourns Death of Princess Lalla Malika, Red Crescent Leader

King Mohammed VI lost his aunt, Princess Lalla Malika, on Tuesday, September 28. The deceased was the president of the Moroccan Red Crescent (CRM) and the sister of the late King Hassan II.
The Royal House issued a statement to announce the sad news. "On this painful occasion, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery and the entire Moroccan people extend their heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion to the King and all the members of the illustrious Royal Family for this cruel loss," it states.
Due to the preventive measures in place due to the evolution of the health situation, the sovereign ensured that the funeral of the deceased took place in a private family setting with a very limited presence, in full compliance with these measures, the same source specifies.
