Moroccan Researchers Honored with Prestigious Ibn Battuta Travel Literature Prize

Four Moroccan researchers were honored at the 19th edition of the Ibn Battuta Prize for travel literature.
The Arab Center for Geographical Literature "Irtyad El Afaq" announced on Monday that three of the four researchers were awarded in the category of studies in travel literature. They are the researchers Boussif Wasti for his work on the historical and epistemological approaches to travel, Rabii Aouadi for his book on the image of Egypt in the writings of Moroccan explorers and travelers, and Mohamed El Massaoudi for his book on travel after colonialism.
The Moroccan researcher Mohamed Abdelghani, for his part, was awarded in the category of translated travel, for his translation from English to Arabic of the work tracing the journey of two Americans crossing Asia by bicycle in 1
