Moroccan Region Reports Full Recovery of All COVID-19 Patients

All persons tested positive for covid-19 in the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region have recovered, according to the regional director of Health, Ali El Haouari.
There were four of them, all originally from the province of Boujdour, who were admitted in isolation at the Moulay El Hassan Ben El Mehdi regional hospital. The first two patients, a doctor and a woman, left this establishment on Friday and last Sunday respectively, after their recovery following the results of the latest tests.
As for the last two patients, a couple who have recovered from the disease, they left the hospital on Tuesday early afternoon, and will return by ambulance to the family home in Boujdour.
All, on the verge of tears, these last two patients thanked the medical staff of the Laâyoune regional hospital who took care of them for several days until their full recovery. They also urged their compatriots to respect the preventive measures decided by the public authorities within the framework of the state of health emergency.
As for the regional director of Health, he expressed his consideration "to the local authorities and the elected councils for their support to the efforts made to curb the spread of the pandemic. He also paid tribute to the medical staff for their constant mobilization and their "selflessness" in order to provide the necessary care to patients affected by this virus, in particular the military medicine, which came to lend a hand to the medical human resources of the Moulay El Hassan Ben El Mehdi hospital.
