Moroccan Quran Reciters Excel at Global Competition in Abu Dhabi

Five Moroccans who are among the winners of the sixth edition of the "Quranic Recitation and Its Sciences" prize were rewarded in Abu Dhabi.
Fatima-Zahrae Mrabet, Kaoutar Zribi, Chaimae Lchab, Anas Mhamdi and Abdellah Bela are the five Moroccans awarded at this global competition this year.
Anas Mhamdi was ranked first in the "all nationalities-men" category, reports the MAP. His compatriot Abdellah Bela, for his part, reached third place behind the Yemeni Majd Ghamdan Abdeslam.
As for Fatima-Zahrae Mrabet, she won the prize in the "all nationalities-women" Quranic recitation category. Her compatriots Kaoutar Zribi and Chaimae Lchab occupy second and third place respectively.
The winners received their awards during a virtual ceremony organized in Abu Dhabi. In addition to the Moroccans, readers representing the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Pakistan, Indonesia and Jordan were also awarded at this global competition, it is specified.
