Moroccan Professors Face Court in University Sex-for-Grades Scandal

Five professors from the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences in Settat, prosecuted for sextortion, will be brought before the prosecutor of the king near the Court of Appeal this Thursday.
The five professors, involved in the so-called "sex for good grades" case, are being prosecuted for sexual blackmail and human trafficking, reports the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
The National Brigade of the Judicial Police (BNPJ) decided to bring them before the prosecutor of the king near the Court of Appeal of Settat, after completing its preliminary investigation into a professor from the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences in Settat who would have awarded good grades to female students in exchange for sexual relations. The latter would have confirmed the facts before the police.

The investigation allowed the BNPJ to arrest three other professors who would have intervened to bring back to better senses a student who would have filed a complaint against the professor.
After the dissemination on WhatsApp of telephone conversations with sexual connotations between the professor and his students, the supervisory ministry instructed the general inspection to conduct an internal investigation. After which, it was decided to suspend the university professor accused of sexual harassment towards his students.
