Moroccan Prince Moulay Hicham Under Health Isolation After Return to Kingdom
For the past few days, Moulay Hicham, cousin of King Mohammed VI, has been in "health isolation" in Morocco.
"I joined Morocco two weeks ago to stay in these difficult circumstances, alongside my family, especially my elderly mother," writes Prince Hicham on his Facebook account, stating that his brother, Moulay Ismaïl, "is recovering from a surgical operation".
He also apologizes to all his relatives and friends of his family, including those of his late father, Prince Moulay Abdallah, who wanted to visit him to congratulate him on obtaining his doctorate from the University of Oxford. But "the case of force majeure, caused by the Coronavirus, has forced us to close my father’s house for the first time due to the "health isolation" instructions".
"In this difficult situation, we must put aside our differences and disagreements, and show a sense of responsibility, and above all, respect the strict preventive measures and government recommendations, especially those of health professionals, to protect our homeland," he says.
