Moroccan Pop Star Saâd Lamjarrad to Record Religious Songs, Including Adhan

Moroccan artist Saâd Lamjarrad is preparing to record religious songs, including one dedicated to the adhan.
"I plan, inshallah, to do more religious songs and record the Adhan (prayer) - as soon as possible," he said in an interview with MBC Trending. The singer has promised to give these songs free of charge to all Moroccan radio stations.
"We sing love and we dance, but we cannot forget our God," said the performer of Lamaallem, adding that it is important to be involved in "permanent charity" (Sadaqah Jariyah) and to make religious songs. His wish, he will say, is that his fans remember him through things that bring them closer to God.
After a string of hits, the singer has been facing legal troubles since 2017. Rape charges that tend to ruin his career.
