Moroccan Police Locate Missing Spanish Tourist in Marrakech with Interpol’s Help

The Moroccan services helped Interpol find a 72-year-old Spanish tourist who disappeared in Marrakech.
The family of a Spanish tourist born in Bogota, Colombia and naturalized Spanish alerted Interpol services following his disappearance in Marrakech. He had arrived in Morocco on November 21. In turn, Interpol contacted the Moroccan police.
Based on information provided by a fake guide, the latter conducted an investigation that resulted in the arrest of two suspects: a woman working as a henna tattoo artist on Jamaâ El Fna Square in Marrakech and a fruit juice seller, reports Al Massae. The latter had the missing man’s phone on him.
This fake guide was the last person seen with the missing person. The police arrest him. He told the investigators that a henna tattoo artist was the last person to see the tourist. The latter was found at the lady’s home on December 10.
