Moroccan Police Bust International Credit Card Fraud Ring in Midelt

Three individuals were arrested this week in Midelt for their alleged involvement in a case of bank card hacking. They are accused of using them in fraudulent commercial operations.
According to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the defendants intercepted the digital data and secret codes of credit cards issued by banking institutions in Europe and North America. These cards were then used to make purchases online.
The damage suffered by the victims is estimated at several thousand dirhams, the police statement said.
Aged 20 and 27, they were both presented to the competent prosecutor’s office at the end of the preliminary investigation procedures and at the end of their custody.
