Moroccan Plastic Surgeon’s Trial Set for April 13 in Human Trafficking Case

The famous plastic surgeon Dr. Hassan Tazi, owner of the Chifaa clinic, incarcerated in the Oukacha prison for, among other things, human trafficking and abuse of weakness, is now informed of the start date of the first hearings of his trial before the Court of Appeal of Casablanca.
April 13. This is the date set by the Attorney General of the King for the start of the first hearings of the trial, in accordance with the decision of the criminal chamber, reports SNRTNews. Last month, the criminal chamber of the Casablanca Court of Appeal had retained complicity in fraud and in the falsification of commercial documents and their use. The investigating judge had previously canceled these charges. The last confrontation between him and an intermediary dates back to December 15, 2022, regarding an amount of money intended for a surgical operation for a member of his family.
Dr. Tazi, his brother, his wife and other persons are separately accused of human trafficking, exploitation of the vulnerability of persons for commercial purposes, fraud against benefactors acting in good faith, falsification of treatment invoices and medical records, exploitation of minors suffering from chronic illness, forgery and use of forgeries and the formation of a criminal gang.
