Moroccan Pilots’ Association Denies Collusion Claims, Protests Dismissals at Royal Air Maroc

The Moroccan Association of Airline Pilots (AMPL) is angry. In a press release, it denounces certain media that accuse Moroccan airline pilots of being in collusion with trade union bodies representing Algeria and South Africa.
IFALPA (International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations-Montreal), to which AMPL is affiliated, has learned that 65 Moroccan pilots, mostly representatives, have been unfairly dismissed. In respect of the "mutual assistance" principle, IFALPA has asked all affiliated associations, of which a dozen had already seized the current Royal Air Maroc management, to in turn seize the RAM presidency in support of their colleagues who have been deprived of their trade union rights.
AMPL claims to have never sought the assistance of any foreign section in this context and strongly protests against this behavior which only aims to tarnish the image of the Moroccan Pilot, exposing him as a traitor to his homeland.
On this particular point, all members of AMPL are resolutely committed to defending their honor by using all the constitutional remedies guaranteed by the rule of law.
