Moroccan Pilgrims Face Hardships During Hajj 2019 in Saudi Arabia

Moroccan pilgrims are having a hard time during the Hajj season, due to the poor quality of accommodation and the lack of catering.
Moroccan pilgrims, settled in the plain of Mina, in Saudi Arabia, are complaining about lodging and board during this Hajj period.
According to the newspaper Assabah, the pilgrimage is a full-scale test for Moroccan officials who participate in the organization of this trip for the Moroccan delegation.
The same source notes that even the visit of high-level officials to the Ministry of Habous would apparently not have brought a smile to the pilgrims. The complaints are persistent.
On social networks, anger is rising. Pilgrims express their feelings through videos and publications. As accused, they mention the officials of the Ministry of Habous, whom they present as the source of their misfortune. According to the complainants, these officials have a certain proximity to the Saudi service providers who do not live up to their task.
Yet Moroccan pilgrims spend a fortune to go on the Hajj. Moreover, the costs of the pilgrimage in Morocco are among the highest in the world.
Concerned about this situation, some parliamentarians have addressed a written question to the supervising Minister.
