Moroccan Phosphate Giant OCP Reports First Coronavirus Case at Casablanca Site

The Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) is affected by the coronavirus. A first case has just been recorded.
"An employee of the Casablanca site, who was suffering from mild flu-like symptoms, has been confirmed positive for the virus," says an internal email sent to OCP employees on Monday, March 16, 2020. As a precaution, people who have been in contact with this person are asked to stay at home.
The person infected with the coronavirus is in a stable and reassuring state of health. "As a precaution, most of the headquarters staff have been teleworking since this [Monday] morning, reducing the workforce to the bare minimum," it is specified.
