Moroccan Nightclub Tycoon Gunned Down in Upscale Spanish Resort Town

A new homicide in southern Spain where a man of Moroccan origin was riddled with bullets in Puerto Banus.
Aged 49, Marco Yaqout was killed in the night from Monday to Tuesday near Marbella, when he was surprised by two men as he was returning home, in a villa located in a secure and 24-hour guarded neighborhood.
According to the local newspaper Diario Sur, the man whose name would be Abdelhadi Yaqout, has always lived in Puerto Banus where he owned several bars and nightclubs, some of which are the most popular and exclusive in the entire region.
With no criminal record, the businessman arrived home around half past three in the morning in his luxury car, a Bentley with foreign registration, "which reflects his economic position," writes the newspaper. In front of his home, two armed men were waiting for him, probably hidden behind the trash can, and no witnesses in sight, the police estimate.
As he was about to enter the garage, the two men opened fire and fired about twenty bullets, 14 of which hit him, leaving him no chance of escape.
