Moroccan News Channel Launches Program to Boost Young Entrepreneurs

Medi1 TV, a continuous news channel, has launched a new program "Dir Mechrou3ek" in partnership with the Banque Populaire group. It aims to support self-entrepreneurs and promote the path of entrepreneurship among young Moroccans.
The program will highlight ten project leaders each week in a daily capsule and a weekly show, the channel announced in a press release. This new program will be presented by Yousri Marrakchi, every Saturday evening at 9:30 PM. The host will be supported by a jury and nominees from all regions of Morocco, the same source specifies. The first episode is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2020 on the Arabic (9:30 PM) and Maghreb (11:00 PM) channels of Medi1TV.
This competition is open to all Moroccans and is divided into several stages over a period of eight weeks, it is indicated. To participate in this competition, candidates are invited to make a mini video summarizing their project, submitted to a jury who will select the most promising ones. Each week, 10 winners are announced to participate in the show and each receive a smartphone, the same source specifies.
On the show’s set, each nominee presents their project in 2 minutes to convince the jury, who will consult to designate the top 5 winners. In addition, the nominees benefit from personalized coaching and group coaching before each show to prepare their pitch on air. As for the capsules and shows, they will be accessible via a dedicated website.
