Morocco’s Self-Employment Program Reaches 117,835 Registrations, Boosting Entrepreneurship

Registrations for the entrepreneur status are multiplying. The Minister of Professional Integration speaks of 117,835 registrations recorded at the end of November 2019.
These figures were provided during the weekly oral question session at the House of Representatives. 30% of the beneficiaries of this program are women and 54% are young people, said Mohamed Amkraz, responding to a question from the PJD group on "the progress of the self-employed regime".
He also stressed that 86,665 self-employed workers were registered in the national register in 2018, and that 350 awareness-raising meetings were organized for this purpose, with the participation of 30,000 people and 100 partners.
