Moroccan National Among Three Arrested in Bosnian Capital Murder Case

The Sarajevo police arrested Thursday three individuals, including a Moroccan, for their alleged involvement in the murder of a 36-year-old Bosnian.
According to the site Al Oumk, an armed assault took place on Tuesday in a suburban neighborhood of the Bosnian capital. Three individuals, two of whom were the subject of an arrest warrant, are being prosecuted for premeditated voluntary manslaughter.
In a statement, the Interior Minister indicated that the suspect, who is in an irregular situation in Bosnia, had been convicted last year for drug possession, without ever being deported.
According to the mayor of the municipality, the number of immigrants has increased alarmingly. Nearly 3,000 illegal immigrants currently live in the municipality of Ilidža, 10 times the reception capacity, she deplored.
