Moroccan Mountaineer Bouchra Baibanou Conquers Mount Lhotse in Himalayas

Moroccan mountaineering champion Bouchra Baïbanou, 53, has achieved a new feat by successfully climbing Mount Lhotse (Himalayas).
A new prowess for Bouchra Baibanou. On her Twitter account, the Moroccan mountaineering champion announced on Monday that she had reached the summit of Mount Lhotse, which rises to 8,516 meters, in the Himalayan mountain range. The task was not easy. She admits to having encountered huge difficulties. She notably mentions the depletion of oxygen bottles, which required the use of the only emergency bottle she had left.
This new feat adds to her record. Bouchra Baibanou is one of the few people to have reached the summits of the 7 highest mountains in the world. She has climbed Everest (Asia), Aconcagua (South America), Denali (North America), Kilimanjaro (Africa), Elbrus (Europe), Vinson (Antarctica), and the Carstens Pyramid (Australia). The one nicknamed the "Lady of the Peaks" began her mountaineering career at the age of 25. She is a communications engineer by training.
