Moroccan Military Drone Strike Kills 4 in Western Sahara Buffer Zone

A Moroccan army drone is said to have killed four Polisario Front members after they entered the buffer zone via Mauritania.
According to sources cited by a pro-Polisario website, it was a group of civilians who had come from Mauritania to search for gold. They were inside a tent and were moving in the area aboard a vehicle registered in Mauritania.
This attack, which has not yet been confirmed by the Moroccan side, occurred on Friday morning in the "Mek" region. The drone is said to have targeted a truck carrying six people, killing four people on the spot.
Two other people, including at least one injured, managed to escape after crossing the buffer zone south of the security wall, coming from Mauritania.
