Moroccan Migrant Dies Swimming to Spanish Enclave of Ceuta

Another young Moroccan dies trying to reach the enclave of Ceuta by swimming. The tragedy occurred on Thursday, according to AFP citing the Spanish Civil Guard.
The body of the victim, whose age could not be determined but "who appears to be an adult", was found around 9:15 p.m. near the Tarajal beach, along with another Moroccan migrant who was lucky enough to be rescued, according to a spokesman for the Civil Guard.
Many of these young migrants brave the danger to find themselves on the other side of the enclave. Some succeed but others meet a tragic end like this man whose identity has not been determined. An autopsy is underway to determine his age, according to the Civil Guard.
Last May, Ceuta had recorded the arrival of more than 10,000 young people in 48 hours. A situation that had exacerbated the diplomatic crisis between Spain and Morocco. About 2,500 migrants are still on site, according to the president of Ceuta, Juan Rivas.
