Moroccan PM’s Maskless Photo with Model Sparks Controversy on Social Media
The photo of the Head of Government, Saâdeddine El Othmani, and the former top model, Chourouk Chelouati, has been circulating on social media.
According to the former model, the photos, posted on her Instagram account, had been taken during a dinner at a palace hotel in Rabat. The actress had also posed alongside Aziz Rebbah, the Minister of Energy and Mines.
The photo of El Othmani has sparked strong criticism. Some internet users have criticized him for not respecting the barrier gestures, particularly the wearing of a mask.
Businesswoman, model and actress, Chourouk Chelouati was elected Miss Arab World in 2014 and Miss Universal Peace and Humanity in 2015. She had participated in the first edition of the international competition in Brazil.
