Moroccan Man Stranded Away from Family as Pandemic Closes Borders

Unlike the thousands of Moroccans who wanted to return to their country to escape the pandemic in Europe, a MRE found himself stuck in Morocco, far from his wife and son residing in Spain.
The arrival of the Moroccan national in the kingdom to visit his sick mother had, unfortunately for him, coincided with the entry into force of the border closure measures imposed by the Moroccan government as part of the national strategy to fight against the coronavirus.
Fearing the worst for his sick wife and son, left alone in Spain, the MRE is forced to endure the state of emergency supposed to end on April 20, unless a gesture from the local authorities.
This situation has led him to cry out for help and to call on the intervention of the Moroccan authorities in order to find a solution, even on an exceptional basis, he implored.
