Moroccan Man Missing in Libya for Over a Month, Family Seeks Help

A Moroccan national residing in Libya has not given any sign of life for more than a month. Several calls for witnesses have been launched, without success, by his family and friends.
Mohamed Mendaq, a young Moroccan who has been living in Zouara for 5 years, has not given any news, says Abderrahim Abdi, his best friend. For a month, the man no longer answers calls and is no longer active on Facebook.
Calls for witnesses have been broadcast in Morocco and in his city of residence, where the Moroccan was living in a shared apartment with other migrants of different nationalities, continues Abdi.
Dozens of Moroccan families have lost their loved ones since the outbreak of conflicts in Libya. The absence of a diplomatic representation makes the task of repatriation very difficult, especially since the majority of migrants do not have identity documents.
